What improper conduct can be reported?

Conduct by the Company or any of its directors, employees and third parties will be considered to be improper when it does not meet the Company’s regulatory obligations or where it may otherwise be considered illegal, fraudulent, unethical, corrupt or inconsistent with the Company’s internal policies. Examples of improper conduct include but are not limited to:

  • Bribery and corrupt conduct;
  • Fraud, theft, embezzlement or dishonest conduct;
  • Breaches of policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations;
  • Any form of harassment;
  • Actions which can cause physical danger/harm to another person and/or can give rise to risk of damage to properties/assets;
  • Substantial mismanagement of the Company’s resources or duties;
  • Conduct which may cause financial loss to the Company or bring it to severe public disrepute or ridicule or is otherwise detrimental to the Company’s interests;
  • Conduct that breaches any obligations under the of Conduct or the Company’s policies and procedures;
  • Poor or unethical sales practices, including mis-selling;
  • Conflict of interest; or
  • Misuse of position or information which may result in profiteering.

Can I report anonymously?

Yes, you can make your report without revealing your identity unless there are legal restrictions. However, we recommend against submitting anonymous reports because they can make it difficult for us to follow up and gather more details for investigations. If you decide to remain anonymous, please understand that we won’t be able to safeguard you from any unfavourable consequences within the Company or Polymer Link. Also, bear in mind that the investigation into the reported matter will be based solely on the information you provide in the form.

Will I still receive support after making a report?

Polymer Link is committed to ensuring that Whistleblowers are not put at a disadvantage. Instead, they will receive support for coming forward with valid concerns regarding known or suspected inappropriate behavior.

A Whistleblower will be safeguarded against harassment, retaliation, victimisation, and negative consequences when they make a report in good faith. This protection is applicable when there are reasonable grounds to believe that improper conduct has taken place.

What information is needed to make a report?

We treat whistleblowing with great importance, and your concern matters to us. We’re eager to learn from you if your disclosure pertains to any inappropriate behaviours or actions linked to Polymer Link.
