Polymer Link continued its CSR efforts with a visit to Pulau Ketam on 18 September 2026, reaching out to elderly residents who are no longer able to work and may have limited access to care and assistance. As part of the initiative, Polymer Link provided bags containing essential items to help meet some of the residents’ everyday needs.
A Visit with Purpose
The visit gave the Polymer Link team an opportunity to better understand the circumstances of the elderly residents and the challenges they may face in their daily lives. Alongside spending time with the community, the team distributed essential items intended to provide practical assistance where it was needed.
While the contribution may seem simple, addressing everyday needs can make a meaningful difference to those with limited resources or support. The initiative reflects Polymer Link’s approach to CSR — identifying where help is needed and responding in a practical and considerate way.
A Moment to Connect
Beyond the items provided, the visit was also about making time for the people within the community. Meeting the residents in person allowed the Polymer Link team to connect with them beyond the immediate purpose of the programme, creating moments of conversation and human connection along the way.
For Polymer Link, community outreach is not simply about providing what is needed, but also about remembering the people behind those needs. Through initiatives such as this, Polymer Link hopes to continue reaching communities that may benefit from a little extra care and consideration, while encouraging a culture of giving that extends beyond the workplace.
